Indoor air can be a lot dirtier than you think. Depending on where you live, it can be full of dust, pollen, pet dander and various other pollutants. Not only are air purifiers fantastic for getting rid of airborne particles, they can also capture airborne viral pathogens, which means you’re less likely to get sick.
Thankfully, a lot of Coway’s air purifiers are on sale on Amazon right now. Coway makes some of the most popular and high-quality purifiers on the market.
If you have Amazon Prime, you’ll get free shipping, of course. Not yet a member? No problem. You can sign up for your free 30-day trial here. (And by the way, those without Prime still get free shipping on orders of $25 or more.)

One of our favorites is the Coway Airmega True HEPA Air Purifier. It has a four-stage filtration system that can capture and reduce up to 99.97 percent of particles, including those of volatile organic compounds and odors in addition to the standard pollen and pollutants. This one in particular is app-enabled, which also means you can control it with Alexa. You can ask the virtual assistant to adjust the fan speed or order new filters. Plus, it’s currently 13 percent off, making it $204 instead of the usual $235.
Yes, that’s more expensive than many air purifiers, but the smart features are well worth it: “My favorite smart feature is the alerts: the IOCare app will send you push notifications for poor air quality when the Coway detects a high particulate count. I often get these alerts when I’m cooking on the stovetop downstairs and there’s smoke, so it definitely works. I like how the app allows you to view your current indoor air quality and see how it compares to the outside. You can also view your indoor air quality as a graph over time. Lastly, the app will send you notifications when the pre-filter needs to be cleaned or the HEPA filter replaced.”

For those with larger homes and open floor plans, we recommend the Coway Airmega 400. It works in spaces up to 1,560 square feet, and it cleans the air at least twice an hour even in the biggest spaces. The Max2 filter system, which combines both an activated carbon filter and a True HEPA filter, can capture and reduce 99.97 percent of the minuscule particles of dust, pollen, and harmful volatile compounds. This model features five fan modes and an LED ring that changes color depending on the air quality. Plus, right now $383 instead of $749 — that’s nearly 50 percent off!
“I purchased this for the sole purpose of allergies. Starting the day after I turned it on, I have not sneezed one time and the allergies have basically gone away. I cannot believe how much better I feel. I honestly feel the difference in the air in my house,” wrote one shopper. “If it weren’t for the indicator lights, you wouldn’t even know it was running 99 percent of the time. On medium fan speed, you can barely hear it. On high speed, you can hear it but it’s much quieter than a standard fan running in the house.” There’s an app-enabled version of the same model as well.

If the Airmega 400 covers more space than you need to cover, opt instead for the Coway Airmega 300. It’s basically the same as the larger model but covers 1,256 square feet. “I purchased the Airmega 300 during the Santa Barbara fires … when the air quality was terrible for many weeks,” said one satisfied review. “It brought relief for my respiratory symptoms due to smoke issues even in my apartment. It has been operating continuously, 24/7, on the Smart Mode ever since.”

The Coway Airmega 250S is made for slightly smaller spaces than the Airmega 400 and 300 models. It wraps every inch of a 930 square feet space in clean air up to two times per hour. Plus, the pollution sensor always tells you how clean the air is, both indoors and outdoors. It too has an app, so you can control it remotely. It’s currently priced at $281, which is 15 percent off the usual $332.
“It’s super quiet, covers three times the square footage and blends right in with modern decor,” raved one five-star review. “Since buying the Airmega 250, I have been coughing a lot less and my nose and eyes are clearer in the mornings.”

For rooms under 214 square feet, you can opt for the Coway Airmega 150, which looks so good that it has won several design awards
“I’ve had this unit for a couple of weeks now and I’m extremely pleased,” said one happy shopper. “Considering purchasing another one! Have owned several air cleaners over the years, and returned a few immediately due to noise and unpleasant smells. This one is the best. Form is A+, looks great. Function is A+, works great. Form + Function = Happiness”

The Coway Tower Airmega AP-1216L accommodates rooms sized up to 330 square feet, and it’s now on sale for 10 percent off. ”
“Excellent product,” raved a shopper. “I had allergies for many years with year-round sneezing, red eyes, stuffed nose. This Coway tower air purifier works wonders… I’ve had it for a few days but I already forgot that I had allergies for 7 years.”
